Mini Sessions are so fun!!
When I first started my photography business mini sessions were my most popular sessions. Mini sessions let me explore new themes, interact with new clients, and step out of my comfort zone. If you have been thinking about booking a mini session this is your sign to DO IT!
Benefits of Mini's
There are many reasons why I encourage my clients to book mini sessions and encourage other photographers to use them.
- You get to work with more people in a day than longer sessions.
- You can build a network
- As a client, you can have photos with a fun theme or occasion without a HUGE price.
- Shorter time commitment.
- Perfect if you want just a few images.
- This might be the time to branch out and try a new photographer.
- THEY ARE SO FUN!
When I am planning mini sessions I think about upcoming holidays, fun themes, requested themes, or I host mini branding sessions. After I have decided what kind of session I want to have I think about a location and a date that would be available for many clients. Mini days take a lot of promotion, word of mouth advertising, and confidence. I always encourage clients to invite friends to join them or bring their pet for a fun and unique session.
